The last 24 hours of 2015
In a few hours, we’ll be stepping into a new year. Tomorrow, many of us will start a fresh list of New Year Resolutions, but today, I just want to look back at 2015.
2015 is currently my toughest year, hands down. Nothing went as planned, though I did learn a lot about myself (then again, adversity does tend to open our eyes to things we like to ignore when everything’s going fabulously).
The greatest impact of this year would be my change in career (not that I had much of one as a fresh graduate). Before this, I wanted to go into Psychology because it was interesting and more stable than writing, but writing has always been the dream, and while the doors to Psychology keep closing in my face, opportunities for writing are opening up. I’m taking that as a sign.
In 2016, I will pursue writing as my career, and work my way towards the ultimate dream of creating something that will outlast me.
