Drabble: Reignited Passion

My response to the prompt ‘passionate‘.

Genre: fantasy, superpowers

~Reignited Passion~

Dance was her passion.

But there were so many others out there who were more gifted, more beautiful, more passionate, more everything. As much as she loved dancing, she didn’t think she had what it took to stand out from the crowd.

Just as she thought she had to put her dancing days behind her and focus on a real career, she discovered her ability to control water. Sure, there couldn’t be that many dancers out there with super powers?

The answer for that, it turned out, was three. But she was the only one who could control water. Good enough.

Armed with little pockets of water and her reignited passion, she danced.
