Drabble: Travelling Conqueror

Genre: adventure

He lasted two weeks before he got bored.

“You’re leaving? But what about your land? Your people?” his manservant asked as he packed.

“You can have it. I’ll make it official and everything.”

“But… You… Why? After all the effort to become the new master?”

“I like conquering. Actually ruling? Bo-ring.”

“What if, what if we can make it interesting?” the manservant said.

“How? Who’s we?”

“I know people who know people who would love to start a rebellion. Have you stopped a rebellion before?”

“No.” He was usually the one starting the rebellion, and he didn’t stick around long enough to face one when he was in charge. It did sound interesting.

“Make it worth my while and I might stay.”

The manservant bowed. “Yes, master.”

Originally, I thought about writing a piece on the character from Fear conquering her… fear, but I’m trying to avoid writing for Potpourri for a bit, so I created this little piece instead.
