Short Story: Delicious Mistake

With keen eyes, alert ears, and a sharp nose, she patrolled the production line. No scrap would escape her, no mistake would go unnoticed.

“Ah.”

She was on the scene in an instance, tail wagging in anticipation.

“There you go.”

A cut of meat, accidentally sliced too thin, was tossed into the air. Her teeth caught it with practised ease. With a toss of her head, she gobbled the tasty morsel.

Yum.

She nuzzled her human, then returned to her patrol for more delicious mistakes.
