Short Story: Unlikely Schism

In a peaceful community, an unlikely schism had appeared.

“People who squeeze the toothpaste from the middle are savages!”

“There’s nothing wrong with that. And what’s it to you anyway?”

Off to the side, the lord and lady of the land watched the unfolding argument among their people.

“Have we… made this place too peaceful?”

“If they want to fight, let’s give them something really worth fighting over.”
