Pale purple trees and warm golden rivers waved under a striking dark sun.
There was no way this was earth.
“It’s true. This is all natural, ” the locals said.
“Then this isn’t the place I’m looking for,” he said.
He thought of crystal clear water under an egg yolk yellow sun, shaded by leaves as red as fire.
He twisted and stepped sideways, as he had done many times before, and he would keep on doing until he found his way back home.
