Today, I learnt that Camp NaNoWriMo also runs in July.
I don’t have anything planned, but the challenge is more forgiving than the 50k word goal in the November challenge, and it’s a new month, so why not give it a shot?
This month’s goal for Logical Dreams, and my goal for Camp NaNoWriMo, is to write 31 short stories in 31 days. I’m starting a day late, and I wasn’t even able to reach my goal in June, but even if I don’t reach it, at least I’ll be writing more.
Anyone else participating?
It didn’t hit me that the month has changed until today. Time for a monthly review.
Last month, my goal was to post something every day. Although I missed a few days, February was a pretty active month.
For March, I would like to continue the same goal. Look forward to more stories in the weeks ahead 🙂
Without realising it, it’s already April. The last time I set a monthly goal was back in February. How things have changed for many of us since then.
In February, my goal was to post something every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I’ve been working on it in February through to March. Some weeks are better than others, but overall it pushes me to get something out, which means more stories 🙂
For March, I would like to continue working on posting something every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while I work on two other writing projects.
First project: a collaboration with a friend for the Webtoon short story contest.
Second project: an online novel writing course with 20k words as homework (might as well do something while we’re all staying at home :p)
For those who are living in places that are under shutdown/lockdown due to Covid-19, what are you doing? Feel free to share in the comments.
See you next month!
In March, I wanted to create a convenient place to gather the more popular stories on Logical Dreams.
Here it is!
Some stories I remember without problem, others I could not recognise from the just reading the title. How many have you read from the list?
For April, I would like to write a longer piece. Around 1000 words would be good. Either in one post or as a multi-chapter story.
See you next time!
I did so well yesterday… that I didn’t feel like writing much today.
Well, I had other things to do too, and I wasn’t going to slack on my other responsibilities just to hit one goal.
I’m halfway through NaNoWriMo, and now I have a more realistic grasp on which days are actually good for writing and which days aren’t. Armed with this knowledge, I hope my second half of NaNoWriMo would be much better.
To everyone else doing NaNoWriMo, hang in there. Only half a month left to go.
